Missoula Weavers Guild

In 2008 the Missoula Weavers Guild is celebrating it's 60th anniversary!

It was February 1948 when a band of weavers from the Missoula area got together and formed the Missoula Weavers Guild. The guild now has members from the Missoula, Flathead and Bitterroot valleys of western Montana. Though it has changed and evolved over the years to meet the needs of it's members, today we are stronger than ever with over 30 members, and a calendar filled with many exciting opportunities to learn and share. Dues are $20 per year, and include membership in the Montana Association of Weavers and Spinners.

The guild has an extensive library collection which is available for checkout by members. Our small newsletter, Tromp as Writ is published monthly from September through May.

Meetings:

The Missoula Weavers Guild usually meets the third Saturday of each month at 1 PM. As our members are widely scattered, our meeting locations vary. (contact one of the officers for more information)

There are no meetings during the busy summer months. Meetings usually resume in August or September, with a pot-luck lunch.
