Vendor Information -
Plans are well underway for the 2012 MAWS Conference in Missoula, MT. Vendors are cordially invited to participate. All activities will take place on the campus of the University of Montana in Missoula. Commercial vendor booths will be in the North Ballroom on the third floor of the University Center.
The proposed line up of workshops, speakers and other activities is sure to draw a great turnout of conference attendees. The vendor area will be open to the public. (signs will be posted outside the University Center)
At this time we anticipate the vendor schedule to be as follows:
Thursday, June 7th:
Friday, June 8th:
Saturday, June 9th:
Sunday, June 10th
Our workshops will include weaving, spinning, knitting, basket making, and felting. If at all possible try to include merchandise that will be of interest to participants in more than one activity.
All booths will be inside the North Ballroom. Most spaces will be approximately 10'x10', and will rent for $100 each. If a single vendor wishes to rent 2 spaces, the cost will be $175. There may be a couple smaller spaces. (Contact me for details.) Electrical outlets and tables are available, if requested when you register. Remember, there is no sales tax to keep track of in Montana!
Loading and unloading will take place at the back of the University Center. There is a freight elevator that will take you and your merchandise to the third floor. You can look at a map of the University Center here:

The university charges a parking fee of $3 per day per space. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to change that. Information on parking passes will be announced as soon as it is available. There is one lot where the University will allow vendors to park and stay in their motorhomes/camp trailers. The cost is $5 plus $3 per space per day. If your vehicle and trailer take 2 spaces, the charge will be $5 plus $6 per day. There are no hookups of any kind. Missoula has a KOA on the west side of town, if that suits your needs better.
Oncampus lodging will be available to purchase, as will meals. Further information on rooms and meals will be available after Jan. 1, 2012. There is a food court on the 2nd floor of the Univ. Center, with a variety of items to choose from , and there is a small market on the 1st floor.
If you have questions or would like to receive an application and further details, please contact me. Downloadable applications will soon be available in pdf format on our website, as well. We are looking forward to a wonderful weekend!
Thank You!
