We are women of vision who create works of art with fiber. Come join us as we share the knowledge of dyeing fiber with herbs and flowers ~ or as we spin and weave using both modern and ancient techniques.
Discover how to make tapestry; learn to knit or crochet afghans that are works of art.
Journey with us to weekend retreats where women gather to share their knowledge. Travel with us to places around Montana where the older arts are still being revealed...

Thank you Sandra...
"I live on Earth at present, and I don't know what I am. I know that I am not a category. I am not a thing- a noun. I seem to be a verb, an evolutionary process-- an integral function of the universe." (r. buckminster fuller)

The members of the Montana Fiber Crafters are women of vision who create works of art with fiber. Come join
with others as we build our community in a positive, relaxed surrounding. Come journey with us as we learn
both modern and traditional ways of working with fiber. Join us and learn various fiber techniques that will
be treasured throughout the generations as wonderful heirlooms in your family.
Montana Fiber Crafters is the only group in the area that is dedicated to all aspects of the fiber-world. We knit,
crochet, rugmaking, spin, weave, and so on. You are welcome to come to our meetings to visit, ask questions,
and socialize, before deciding if you would like to join. No matter what your skill level is, you are welcome to
join.
Montana Fiber Crafters was established in 2002. We are a non-profit group dedicated to Fiber crafts - both
learning and teaching.
Membership is easy. Each September members will be asked to remit Guild dues of $10.00. These dues go
towards books, supplies and teachers. You will also receive "The Guild" Montana Fiber Crafters newsletter
which is packed full of fiber-related articles and free patterns.
