Montana Association of Weavers and Spinners
Missoula Weavers Guild
It was February 1948 when a band of weavers from the Missoula area got together and formed the Missoula Weavers Guild. The guild now has members from the Missoula, Flathead and Bitterroot valleys of western Montana. Though it has changed and evolved over the years to meet the needs of its members, today we are stronger than ever with over 30 members, and a calendar filled with many exciting opportunities to learn and share. Dues are $20 per year, and include membership in the Montana Association of Weavers and Spinners (MAWS) and the Association of Northwest Weavers Guilds (ANWG).
The guild has an extensive library collection which is available for checkout by members. Our newsletter, Tromp as Writ is published monthly from September through May. (See below for archived newsletters)
