Prairie Hand Spinners is composed of a group of Montana handcrafters who meet once a
month to spin. We meet from September - May. Meetings are held at either the Billings Parmley
Library or the Yellowstone Art Museum.
Monthly meetings consist of a short business meeting followed by a program or simply, spinning
and visiting. Programs are often put on by members who have acquired new skills at a workshop.
PHS tries to host at least two workshops a year, in which we contract with a fiber arts expert to
come to Billings for a week-end. These workshops are non-profit and entrance fees are set just to
cover the cost of the speaker. We hope that you will join us for a meeting or a workshop- to spin
or learn to spin.
A calendar for 2008-09 will be made available in the Fall. For those who wish to keep in contact
during the summer months, we have a Yahoo e-mail group.
